7 Fun Birthday Celebration Style Concepts

Birthdays! A wondrous occasion to be commemorated every year! There’s a factor kids love birthdays and it’s not just because they get great deals of presents. Ok, yeah, perhaps it is but there’s more to it than that. The majority of the birthday presents are forgotten a few months, if not days, after the big occasion but the memories of the birthday celebrations can last a life time.

Centering your birthday celebration on a style is an excellent way to produce those lifetime memories. And it is a terrific method to make your celebration planning much easier, too. So what sort of celebrations make for the “this was the very best celebration of my life” comments from your kids?

* Princess Celebrations – If you’ve got women, you understand the word princess was among the first words in their vocabulary. Princess parties are not just delightful, they’re very popular and since of that it’s pretty simple to discover great decoration, tableware, crafts and activities to make it simple. Simply think “PINK” and you’ll be midway there! Do not restrict yourself to just the popular Disney Princesses though – keep the theme more broad and make YOUR princess the star of the program.

* Dinosaur Party – Better balance this post out with a really popular style for the boys – the Dinosaur celebration. Believe green, brown, huge and loud and you’ve got the making of a great celebration revolving around all things Dino! The thing that makes this celebration so simple is you can utilize a lot of kraft grocery bags and other recyclables to really turn your home around for the party. Use them to eliminate rocks and footprints and more. Use some green streamers for the jungle effect. Make dirt cake as the birthday cake and conceal green M&M s inside as the dinosaur eggs. See how fun this is?

* Teddy Bear Celebration – I can’t think of any party that’s easier to create than a Teddy Bear party. Have the kids bring their favorite teddy or employ a make your very own teddy bear entertainer to keep the kids occupied then the guests will have a great take home present too. A teddy shaped cake is really simple to make with a few round cake pans or you can make it even much easier and frost a 9×13 cake and embellish it with either gummy bears or teddy grahams. Improve the theme with either a tea party or a teddy bear fashion show – or have one of the activities be where the kids make clothing for their animals.

* Carnival Celebration – A carnival celebration is a great theme particularly for an outside, mid-summer celebration. Borrow some tables from the next-door neighbors or your local church and set up a variety of stations for food, activities, crafts and video games. Involve the mommies and papas of the visitors to keep track of the numerous tables or hire some community teenagers for the afternoon to assist keep things under control. Have the kids trade tickets for food or activities and make more tickets for winning at a few of the tables. If you’re preparing for an outdoor party, have a rain date set simply in case.

* Tea ceremony – The great aspect of a tea party is that you can make it as simple or as elaborate as you like, depending upon the time you have and the personality of your child. From an easy “pretend” tea with milk and cookies to an all out English High tea with scones, Devonshire cream, dipped strawberries and delicious hot tea (the real thing), a tea party is a terrific shift party for a girl who does not want to do a more childish style. Have Dad gown up in his best fit and play “butler” as he serves all the tea guests at the celebration. This is a style that would work out combined with a Princess party or the teddy bear party too.

* Sports Celebration – Have a child that just cannot get sufficient sports? Then center his birthday celebration on them too! Either focus on the birthday kid’s preferred or make it a combination party with different sports highlighted. Or take the present sport of the season and make the party all about that sport. The easy thing about sports parties is that you can discover fantastic take home presents and crafts so easily and inexpensively and you can truly spend much of the “time” of the celebration in fact taking part in some aspect of the sport. Undoubtedly this would be a great party for someone who does not actually desire to do a celebration in the house – take all the kids out to the bowling street, batting cages or driving range, then out for ice cream and voila … a great celebration!

* 50’s Sock Hop Celebration – This is a very easy celebration to assemble because much of the party is centered on the music and the method the kids dress. Encourage the gals to use poodle skirts and they people to wear denims and white tee shirts with, obviously, both in bobbie socks and saddle shoes (if you can find them) or keds. Have a little “comprise” station for the women to put on a little lipstick, throw some exploded balloons on the flooring in the living-room, switch on the music and let the hopping start! Root beer drifts or make your very own sundaes (one with a candle for the birthday kid) are easy food for this party.

So maximize your kid’s birthday celebration this year by focusing the events of the day on a theme. You’ll find it to be tension free, enjoyable and something that your kid will keep in mind long into his adult years.
