.?.!! A good friend recently went camping in a rather backwoods and, as many of us pet enthusiasts do she took her Chihuahua with her. When she returned home her Chi unexpectedly got ill and she took him to the vet.

Possible Reasons that Canines Consume Poop
1. Is your dog hungry? If your canine does not have access to food, he may consume poop.
2. Your dog may be consuming poop because of parasites or worms. They can draw nutrients from your dog, driving him to consume poop. It may also leave him extra starving because of the absence of appropriate fuel.
3. They might be consuming feline poop or other animal poop to obtain key nutrients and minerals not offered in his own food.
4. Some canines will just eat poop to kill time. Dogs will consume poop since they are tired or lonely. Potentially an indication of disregard.
5. Your pet dog might consume poop due to the fact that he’s nervous, anxious or otherwise upset. Stress will drive animals to do odd things.
6. If your pet has pups, she might consume young puppy poop. This is an instinct to keep her young puppies safe by concealing the poop from predators.
7. Some young pets and pups will eat poop as an experiment or novelty.
8. Your canine might see other pet dogs consuming poop from this, they discover to eat poop too.
