The 50’s are a nostalgic time. Poodle skirts, loafers, curly hair products, straight hair grease, ponytails and Elvis Presley. Rock-and-roll was the hit of the era. The music of the 50’s lives on and even influences some of the music of today. Elvis became the icon of the era, starting with Heartbreak Hotel released in 1956 skyrocketing to top on the pop charts. In November of the exact same year, he made his film debut in Love me Tender.
